Kit for the qualitative and semi-quantitative determination of antibodies to Salmonella typhi and Salmonella paratyphoid in human serum. This is for professional use only. S. typhi or S. paratyphoid antibodies present in the serum specimen react with the corresponding bacterial antigens to produce agglutination, which indicates a positive test result. If antibodies are absent in the specimen and no agglutination is observed, this means a negative test result.
